Nine tabs, three vocabularies
The Dukat.bet slots page lines up nine tabs: Top Slots, New Games, Hold & Win, Fruits, Books, Jackpot, High RTP, Bonus Buy and Bonus Friendly. So the terms follow the shelf where you first meet them, not the alphabet.
It is for players who have spun before and meet half-familiar words in the help screen. The examples come from the studios’ official pages.
Every RTP figure is the maker’s; the setting the casino actually runs is in the game’s help screen.
Fruits and Books: the words of classic reels
| Term | In short | Where you meet it |
|---|---|---|
| Grid (5×3, 3×3) | Reels times rows | Book of Kemet 5×3, Mega Rise 3×3 |
| Fixed paylines | Preset paths; you don’t choose how many | Fruit Spin with 40 lines, Lord of the Ocean with 10 |
| Dual-role symbol | One symbol both substitutes and triggers the bonus round | The book in Book of Kemet, the GATE in Lord of the Ocean |
| Expanding symbol | A symbol drawn before the free spins that covers the whole reel when it wins | Book of Kemet, ahead of the 10 free spins |
| Retrigger | The trigger condition lands again during the bonus round | Book of Kemet: +1 expanding symbol, up to 9 |
| Multiplier bar | A visible scale that climbs higher with each win | Mega Rise: rises up to 100× |
| Nodemoplay | Lobby label: the game starts only with a real stake | Every Novomatic title |
The mechanic step by step: book slots.
Hold & Win and Jackpot: locked coins, fixed tiers
| Term | In short | Where you meet it |
|---|---|---|
| Money symbol (coin) | A symbol carrying a value, shown as a multiple of the stake | Piggy Bank Hold&Win |
| Sticky symbol | Stays put until the round ends while other cells keep spinning | The Piggy Bank Hold & Win round |
| Spin counter | How many respins are left | Piggy Bank: one ‘piggy’ adds +3 spins |
| Grid expansion | The play area grows mid-round | Piggy Bank: from 3×3 to 3×5 |
| Fixed jackpot | A preset multiplier that doesn’t grow from stakes | Piggy Bank: Mini ×25, Minor ×50, Major ×125 |
| Full grid | Every cell holds a coin, so a separate prize applies | Piggy Bank: Grand ×500 on 3×3, Royal ×2,500 expanded |
| Progressive or pool jackpot | A top prize fed by stakes, its value shifting by the minute | In detail on the jackpot games shelf |
| Jackpot tag | A lobby marker, not proof of the mechanic | Mega Rise is tagged with no jackpot; Piggy Bank the reverse |
How a full round plays out: the Hold & Win shelf.
Megaways, Bonus Buy, High RTP: the tabs of numbers
| Term | In short | Where you meet it |
|---|---|---|
| Ways / Megaways | Symbols anywhere on adjacent reels pay; with Megaways the reel heights change every spin | Gods of Troy Megaways: 6×7, 117,649 ways |
| Feature buy tiers | Several prices in one game, each buying something different | Vault Cracker Megaways: Hold-Up Artist 10×, Heist 60× |
| Buy price | Always a multiple of the base stake, never a fixed euro sum | Gods of Troy: 75× / 300× according to the page text |
| Bonus Buy tab | Almost only Novomatic titles | Vault Cracker Megaways isn’t on it |
| Stated RTP | The theoretical payout rate the studio gives | Well of Wilds Megaways 97.71% |
| High RTP tab | A list built from the name (‘Hot’), not an RTP filter | Red Hot BBQ is on it at 95.66% |
| Volatility in the studio’s words | Each studio has its own scale; they don’t swap one for one | Book of Kemet ‘Very high’, Greentube: just ‘5’ |
| Hit frequency | How many of a hundred spins bring any win, even below the stake | Mega Rise 12.95%, Vault Cracker 31.15% |
| Max win | The ceiling a single round never pays beyond | Gods of Troy 43,200×, Fruit Spin 500× |
How RTP and house edge connect: payout percentage.
An unfamiliar info panel in six steps
- Remember which tab you came from. It tells you which table you need.
- Open the help screen before you set a stake.
- Find the grid and how it pays. Lines or ways?
- Identify the trigger. Does a dual-role symbol, a coin or a scatter open the feature?
- Write down three numbers: RTP, volatility, max win. For Novomatic: not published.
- Compare with the lobby tag. If they disagree, the help screen wins.
Six coins on an invented 3×3 grid
Worked example with invented values – independent of Dukat.bet:
On an invented Hold & Win slot the base stake is 0.40 EUR. When the round ends, six coins are stuck on the grid: ×1, ×2, ×2, ×3, ×5 and a Mini jackpot ×25. What does the round pay, and what would the ×500 full grid pay?
Solution. The coin multipliers add up: 1 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 25 = 38. In euros, 38 × 0.40 = 15.20 EUR. The full grid would be 500 × 0.40 = 200 EUR – if all nine cells fill up, which is rare.
Coins and jackpot tiers show multipliers; your base stake turns them into euros.
Four lines for your notes before the first spin
- Tab and mechanic – does the tag match the help screen?
- How it pays – lines or ways, on what grid.
- Trigger – which symbol opens the feature.
- Three numbers – RTP, volatility, max win.
