Frequently asked questions
What is this portal good for if you cannot play on it?
For understanding a category before you put money on it. We split the lobby into shelves and, for each one, describe what is worth checking before you play. We handle no money and open no accounts.
Where do the figures about the games come from?
RTP, volatility and maximum win come from the studios’ official sites. Where a studio publishes no data – as with Novomatic RTP – we do not write an estimate either. Several RTP versions may exist; Dukat.bet does not state which one you get.
How does a lobby category differ from a label?
A category is an item in the menu, while a label is a marker stuck onto a game. Labels are not always accurate: the ‘High RTP’ tab does not filter by RTP, and the ‘Jackpot’ label also appears on games that have no jackpot.
Where do I begin if I know nothing yet?
With the lessons on the ‘first steps’ level, then those ‘for practising players’, and finally the ones ‘for experienced players’. Each lesson shows its level at the top.
Why is RTP on a slot different from RTP at a blackjack table?
On a slot the studio fixes it, while at a table the rules and your own decisions play a part too. The 99.6% of Blackjack Neo, for example, holds only with optimal play. More on [the payout percentage shelf](/en/payout-percentage/).
What does it mean when a studio lists ‘Very high’ volatility?
Expect longer dry stretches and rarer, bigger wins. Studios use different scales, so the wording of two developers cannot be compared one to one. See [the risk levels shelf](/en/risk-levels/).
Why won’t a Novomatic game start in demo mode?
The lobby marks every Novomatic title as ‘Nodemoplay’, so those games can only be played for money. With other studios, the absence of that marker suggests a demo appears to be available.
Which bonus point should I read if I only have time for one?
Point 2.14, because it tells you which category counts towards wagering: slots 100%, table games 0%, live dealer games not at all. After that, read the 2.7 stake cap and the 2.15 exclusion list.
Is there a downloadable Dukat.bet app?
We found no app store link. Dukat.bet works in a browser, and you can pin the web version to your phone’s start screen. Details: [the mobile shelf](/en/mobile/).
Why don’t you score the games or the casino itself?
Because a star rating would suggest that one game is ‘better’ than another. Instead we set out the facts – RTP, volatility, mechanics, rule point – and leave it to you to decide what fits your budget and your patience.
Can you recommend what I should play tonight?
We do not give recommendations like that. No game pays better on a particular day, and we sell no strategies either – we only show you how to read the rules.
Why does every page carry the 18+ sign?
Because gambling for money is allowed for adults only, and our lessons deal with real money. If a minor also uses the device, you will find advice on the responsible gaming page.
