Nine cells, sticky coins, a shrinking counter
On the Dukat.bet slots page, the Hold & Win tab gathers games whose main bonus round is a collect-style respin feature. In the base game, coins (money symbols) appear, each showing a value – a multiple of your stake. When enough coins land at once, the round begins: the coins lock in place and the remaining cells spin again.
The round opens with a respin counter that allows a few spins. Every spin without a new coin takes one off. If a new coin lands, though, the counter returns to the number it started from. The round ends when the counter runs down to zero or every cell is filled.
This shelf is for players who enjoy watching a win build up piece by piece – and who already know how the base game flows. The basics of wilds and multipliers are summed up in the special features lesson.
When the round ends, all coin values are added together.
What the Hold & Win shelf data tells you
| Feature | On this shelf | Why it matters to you |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger | Several coins at once in the base game | The info panel says how many – it differs per game |
| Sticky coins | Coins that land stay in place until the round ends | The grid fills slowly and the win grows step by step |
| Respin counter | Resets on a new coin, ticks down on an empty spin | The length of the round is down to luck, not fixed |
| Fixed jackpots | Some coins are worth a preset multiplier, not a growing pot | The prize scales with your stake, so you can work it out |
| Full grid | On many games it pays a separate, larger prize | This is the rare peak, not the usual outcome |
The textbook title on this shelf is BGaming’s Piggy Bank Hold&Win, released on 19 March 2026. According to the studio, it runs on a 3×3 grid with an RTP of 96.98%, ‘Medium’ volatility and a top win of ×2,500 your stake. The round uses sticky coins, and the fixed jackpots are Mini ×25, Minor ×50 and Major ×125. Filling all nine cells gives the Grand (×500); if the grid has grown to 3×5 along the way and that fills up too, you get the Royal (×2,500).
What sets it apart are three ‘piggies’: one adds a multiplier, another puts +3 spins on the counter and the third expands the grid. There is a bonus buy in three versions, but the studio does not publish the prices. Going by the lobby, a demo appears to be available.
One oddity: the lobby has not given the game a ‘Jackpot’ tag, even though the studio describes fixed jackpots. Tags are no substitute for the info panel.
A collect-style round, step by step
- Open the Hold & Win tab and pick a game; note the studio on the tile.
- In the info panel, find three key facts: how many coins trigger the round, where the counter starts and what fixed jackpot multipliers there are.
- Try the demo if there is one, and watch how the counter resets.
- Set your stake. Fixed jackpots are multiples of the stake, so a smaller stake means proportionally smaller prizes.
- Spin until the round triggers, and don’t raise your stake in the meantime ‘because it must be close’ – the game keeps no record of how long you have waited.
- During the round, just watch. On most games there are no decisions to make; the respins run on their own.
- At the end, read the total from your history and compare it with what you staked.
Seven coins, five respins, ten times the stake
Worked example with invented values – independent of Dukat.bet:
On an invented 3×3 Hold & Win slot your stake is 1 EUR and the counter starts at 3. Six coins worth 8× in total trigger the round. The first respin is empty, the second brings a 2× coin, then three empty spins follow. What does the round pay, and how many respins were played?
Solution. After the first empty spin the counter stands at 2. The coin on the second spin resets it to 3, and the three empty spins then take it to zero. Five respins were played and there are seven coins on the grid: 8 + 2 = 10× the stake, or 10 EUR.
Apply the Piggy Bank Hold&Win multipliers to the same 1 EUR stake: Mini 25 EUR, Minor 50 EUR, Major 125 EUR, Grand 500 EUR, Royal 2,500 EUR. The gap between the usual outcome and the peak spans several orders of magnitude – a full grid is the rare case.
Sticky coins and the bonus rules
With a bonus at Dukat.bet, this shelf is covered by Slots Bonus – 500% up to 3,000 EUR + 15% Cashback. Generally, slots contribute 100%, with one exception that matters on this shelf in particular.
Under point 2.15, ‘all Jackpot slots’ are excluded from wagering. Whether Dukat.bet means the lobby tag or the mechanic itself is not public. So a Hold & Win slot with fixed jackpots may fall into a grey zone even without a ‘Jackpot’ tag. When playing with a bonus, check the exclusion list, and if you are unsure, ask before you play. Bonus terms are explained in the bonus dictionary.
Four points before you fill the grid
- You know how many coins trigger the round and where the counter starts.
- You have looked up the fixed jackpot multipliers – and whether a full grid pays a separate prize.
- You are not relying on the tag. Piggy Bank Hold&Win shows that the ‘Jackpot’ tag can be missing even where a jackpot exists.
- With an active bonus, you have checked the exclusion list, because a jackpot mechanic may mean exclusion.
To compare this round with book slots, head to the Books shelf. If growing pots interest you after fixed multipliers, the next stop is the jackpot games shelf.
