When an account word is unclear: five steps
- Note where you saw it: in the cashier, the profile or among the limits.
- Find it in this list and read its general meaning.
- Open the operator’s terms and search for the word with your browser’s find function.
- Write out the specifics: amount, deadline, waiting time.
- Still vague? Ask the operator’s support before moving any money.
Step three matters most. The meaning of the word is general, but the rule is always local.
When does a raised deposit limit take effect?
Worked example with invented values – independent of Dukat.bet:
Your weekly deposit limit is 25 EUR, and the week starts on Monday. By Wednesday you have already deposited 20 EUR, and that is when you ask for the limit to go up to 50 EUR. At this operator a raise is subject to a 7-day cooling-off period, while a reduction applies immediately.
Question: how much more can you deposit this week, and from when does the 50 EUR apply?
Solution: the old limit stays in force, so 25 − 20 = 5 EUR is left for this week. The raise takes effect 7 days after Wednesday, on the following Wednesday. A cut to 15 EUR that Wednesday would apply at once, and with 20 EUR already paid in, you could deposit nothing more that week.
The delay stops you from choosing a bigger budget on impulse after a bad evening.
Before you tap the cashier button for the first time
- I have checked which documents verification needs and where I can upload them.
- I know where to see pending requests and my transaction history.
- I have found the deposit limit and know how long the cooling-off period is for a raise.
- I have switched on two-factor authentication, if the interface offers it.
